KHANZADYAN Sero was born on December 3, in 1915 in the city of Goris. An Armenian writer, honored Cultural Worker (1972). Hero of Socialist Labour (1984). He was the chairman of the Writers' Union of Armenia in 1990-94.
The short stories, novels and novellas of Sero Khanzadyan reveal and complete the inner world of the modern man "The Lost Paths", 1964, "Kajaran", 1965, “Burnt House "(1965 film," Gorge of the abandoned Tales ", 1974)," After the Rain, 1969, "Why why? ", 1970," Three years, 291 days "(1972, RA state prize 1977), "Dawn of Sevan "(1974). The novel "Speak, Armenian Mountains" (1976) depicts the tragic fate of the Armenian people of 1915-16, their heroic resistance against the Turkish murderers.
The novel "The Armenian queen" (1978) is the unique description of the past of the Armenian people, the novel "Andranik" (1989) depicts Andranik’s struggle against the Turkish authorities. The novel of the same name is devoted to Garagin Nzhdeh (“Garegin Nzhdeh”, 1993).
Deputy of RA (1980-85, 1985-90), of USSR Supreme Council (1898-91).
S. Khanzadyan died on June 26m 1998. He is buried in Komitas Pantheon.
