On the 95th anniversary of Yerevan State University foundation a Poetry Festival took place on June 10 at 12.00 in the courtyard of the Central Annex of YSU and then at 17.00 in the main hall of YSU, which was dedicated to the anniversaries of three Armenian great writers: the 100th anniversary of Hamo Sahyan, the 100th anniversary of Hovhannes Shiraz and the 90th anniversary of Paruyr Sevak. In his opening speech the YSU Rector Aram Simonyan congratulated those presents on the Jubilee Day and proudly noted that both H. Shiraz, P. Sevak were graduates of YSU, so the choice of these authors in the frame of this event was not by chance.
